Working in an English speaking environment is an excellent way to improve your English language skills while, at the same time ,enjoying the friendliness and hospitality of the Irish people. ELME offer unpaid work experience for international students throughout the year, for
students aged 16 and above. This programme offers students a great opportunity to experience Irish life as well as improving their English language. When applying for work experience, students should know that hours, days of work and dress code are at the discretion of the Business they will be placed in. Each student will stay with a host family that will welcome them and treat them like a member of their own family. The student will be a fully immersed in the English language and Irish culture while they are here in Ireland. Each students receives certification of their Work Experience, upon completion of same. ELME offer work placements in the following settings: Hotel, Café, Restaurant, Agricultural and Retail.
